CPP Consumer Protection Code

Terms of business
This insurance is provided by Homecare Insurance Limited (“Homecare”), trading as CPP Ireland, Suite 6, Plaza 212, Blanchardstown Corporate Park, Dublin 15. Homecare is a member of the CPP group of companies.

Our regulatory status
Homecare is authorised and regulated by the UK Financial Services Authority (“FSA”); our Firm Reference Number is 202880. We are an insurer authorised to effect and carry out contracts of general insurance. You can check our status on the FSA’s website (www.fsa.gov.uk/register) or by telephoning +44 1845 606 1234.

Our service
We sell and provide advice on our own general insurance products only; in Ireland we sell identity protection, card protection and mobile phone insurance only. You will not be charged a fee by us for the provision of these products other than the annual premiums payable. If you do not pay these premiums when due, your cover will lapse and you are unlikely to be able to make a claim for any loss you have suffered.

Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your policy, please contact us on +44 1904 544695 or write to Homecare Insurance Ltd, PO Box 3899, Dublin 1. If you’re unhappy with the outcome of your complaint, you can take this to the Financial Services Ombudsman, 3rd Floor, Lincoln House, Lincoln Place, Dublin 2 (telephone 1890 88 20 90). We (but not you) are bound by the Ombudsman’s decision. Please note you must take your complaint to the Ombudsman within six months of our own final decision or you will not be eligible to take your complaint further.

Conflicts of interest
We will try to avoid conflicts of interest but if you feel that your interests have not been protected, please contact us to give us the opportunity to resolve any issues you have.

Compensation
Homecare is a member of the UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme, so you may be entitled to compensation if we are unable to meet our obligations. Insurance advising and arranging is covered 100% for the first £2000 and 90% for the remainder of the claim, without upper limit.
